As a family SUV, the Honda Pilot is designed to keep everyone safe. It was built with a solid Advanced Compatibility Engineering™ (ACE™) Body Structure and features six standard airbags.
You’ll also have better awareness with Honda Sensing®. This system helps prevent accidents before they occur with driver assistance features, such as:
- • Collision Mitigation Braking System™
- • Road Departure Mitigation System
- • Adaptive Cruise Control
- • Lane Keeping Assist System
Even backing up is safer and easier in this SUV, thanks to the Multi-Angle Rearview Camera with Guidelines. When you shift into reverse, your dashboard monitor will show you what’s behind you and the path you’re traveling on.
Passenger & Cargo Room
The Honda Pilot features three rows of seats with room for up to eight people. You’ll have a choice for the middle row between a bench seat or wide captain’s chairs. If you opt for the captain’s chairs, you’ll still have room for seven people, plus you’ll get a center convenient aisle. Overall there’s 152.9 cubic feet of passenger room throughout the interior.

Making more storage space is easy with folding seats in both the second and third rows. The back has standard 60/40 split flat-folding seats, while the middle seats are available as One-Touch 2nd Row seats that fold down with just the press of a button.
The Honda Pilot is powered by a 3.5L V6 engine that gets up to 280 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. With this level of power, you’ll be able to tow up to 5,000 pounds.
The standard transmission that works with this engine is a 6-speed automatic but a more versatile 9-speed automatic is also available.
This powertrain is also designed to maximize production and run smoothly with Intelligent Variable Valve Timing and Life Electronic Control (i-VTEC). The efficient design helps it get up to an EPA-estimated 19 MPG city and 27 MPG highway[i].
